Summary
This study tests a new medication, NBI-1117570, to see if it can improve symptoms like confusion, mood changes, and unusual behavior in adults with schizophrenia who need hospital care. About 120 people aged 18 to 55 will receive either the drug or a placebo for 35 days. The goal is to find a safer or more effective treatment option for acute episodes.
