New schizophrenia pill enters testing to calm acute psychosis

Summary
This study is testing a new, once-daily extended-release pill called LY03020 for adults experiencing an acute worsening of schizophrenia symptoms. It aims to see if the pill is better than a placebo at reducing overall psychosis symptoms, as measured by a standard rating scale. The study will involve about 160 participants in China and will closely monitor for side effects.
