New pill tested for mental health conditions

NCT ID NCT06494397

Summary

This study tested if a new drug called VHX-896 works similarly in the body to an existing drug, iloperidone, which is used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Researchers compared the levels of each drug in the blood of 26 stable patients. The goal was to see if the new drug is processed the same way and is as safe as the current treatment.
