New study aims to improve heart rhythm treatment for Scar-Related tachycardia

Summary
This study compares two catheter ablation techniques for treating atrial tachycardia caused by heart scarring. About 201 adults will be randomly assigned to either an isthmus-guided or anatomical linear ablation approach. The main goal is to see which method better prevents the abnormal heart rhythm from returning within a year after the procedure.
