New injection may help prevent surgical scars

Summary
This study tests if a drug called verteporfin can reduce scarring after tummy tuck surgery. Twelve adults will receive small injections of different doses of verteporfin or a placebo in different parts of their surgical wound. Researchers will compare scar appearance after 3 months using a standard scar scale.
