New Light-Based scanner aims to spot cavities without X-Rays
NCT ID NCT07342595
Summary
This study is testing a new dental scanner that uses a special light to find early tooth decay, aiming to be an alternative to X-rays. It involves 50 adults who already have a tooth scheduled for removal. Researchers will compare the scanner's results to traditional visual exams and X-rays to see if it's just as accurate and reliable when used by different dentists.
