Summary
This study looks at whether routinely checking for heart disease in people with type 2 diabetes who are at very high risk is worth the cost and effort. Researchers will analyze data from 90,000 patients in French health databases to compare those who were screened versus those who were not. The goal is to see if screening saves money and improves survival over 4 years.
