Radiation plus immunotherapy: a one-two punch for advanced melanoma?

NCT ID NCT06767306

First seen Dec 11, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a precise type of radiation (SBRT) to standard immunotherapy can help people with advanced melanoma that has spread to a few places in the body. About 129 adults with untreated, stage IV melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery will be randomly assigned to get either immunotherapy alone or immunotherapy plus SBRT. The main goal is to see if the combination helps people live longer and keeps the cancer from growing.
