Summary
This study tested whether training birth attendants in a simple breathing rescue method (Helping Baby Breathe) could save more newborns with birth asphyxia in rural Nepal. About 95 health workers and newborns took part across multiple birthing centers. Researchers compared the workers' skills and newborn health before and after the training to see if the program made a difference.
