NCT ID NCT05777928

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at how full people feel after two types of weight-loss procedures: sleeve gastrectomy (removing part of the stomach) and a stitch procedure (OverStitch) for those who regained weight after earlier surgery. Researchers will ask 60 adults with severe obesity to drink water until they feel comfortably full, measuring how much they drink. The goal is to understand changes in satiety and help improve long-term weight control.
