Summary

This study looked at how muscle loss (sarcopenia) impacts quality of life and disease progression in 60 people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Researchers measured muscle strength, walking speed, and lung function, and used questionnaires to assess quality of life. The goal was to better understand the role of muscle health in IPF, but no treatment or intervention was tested.
