First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at how common muscle loss and weakness are in people with Parkinson's disease compared to healthy adults. Researchers measured muscle thickness, grip strength, and physical performance in 43 Parkinson's patients and 22 healthy volunteers. The goal was to better understand how Parkinson's affects muscles, not to test a new treatment.
