First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having fewer follow-up scans after surgery for soft tissue sarcoma can help lower patients' fear of the cancer coming back. About 227 adults who finished treatment will be split into two groups: one with limited follow-up and one with intense follow-up. Researchers will track anxiety and other outcomes over two years to find the best way to monitor patients without causing extra stress.
