First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This phase 3 study tests whether adding Sanhuang Jingshiming Pills to standard ranibizumab injections can reduce the number of injections needed for wet age-related macular degeneration (nAMD). About 450 adults aged 50-85 with active nAMD will receive either the herbal pill or a placebo alongside their injections. The main goal is to see if the pill helps control the disease with fewer injections.
