Summary

This study looks at whether giving salbutamol (a drug that opens airways) during weight-loss surgery can reduce stress on the lungs in obese patients. About 66 adults having laparoscopic bariatric surgery will receive either salbutamol or a placebo. Researchers will measure breathing mechanics and check for lung complications after surgery.
