Summary
This early study tests whether stimulating a nerve in the lower back (sacral nerve stimulation) can safely help control symptoms of ulcerative colitis. It includes 15 adults with moderate-to-severe disease who have not responded to standard medications. The main goal is to see if the treatment reduces disease activity scores over 12 weeks.
