Summary

This study tests a combination of two drugs, sacituzumab govitecan and bevacizumab, in people with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer that has progressed after at least one prior treatment. The trial will enroll 60 participants across several centers in China. Researchers will first find the safest dose, then measure how long the cancer stays under control and monitor side effects.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
Sacituzumab Govitecan and Bevacizumab
What this could lead to
If successful, this combination could offer a new second-line or later treatment option for people with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer, potentially slowing disease progression.
What could go wrong
This is an early Phase II study with only 60 participants, so results may not apply to all patients. The combination may cause significant side effects, and it is not yet known if it improves overall survival.
