Summary
This study tested whether adding the RUTI vaccine to standard tuberculosis (TB) treatment helps clear the bacteria faster. It included 140 adults with drug-sensitive or multidrug-resistant TB who were already responding to standard therapy. Participants received either the vaccine or a placebo, and researchers measured how quickly their sputum became bacteria-free.
