New RSV vaccine trial aims to protect adults from severe lung infection

Summary
This study tests a new vaccine against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in adults. The vaccine is made using CHO cells and includes an adjuvant to boost immunity. The trial has two parts: Phase I checks safety in adults 18 and older, while Phase II looks at immune response and safety in adults 60 and older. About 470 volunteers will receive either the vaccine or a control.
