Summary
This study tested an investigational vaccine designed to protect infants and toddlers from Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). Researchers gave 259 children aged 6 to 18 months a weakened live version of the virus to see if it was safe and if it triggered a protective immune response. The main goals were to monitor for side effects and measure the body's production of virus-fighting antibodies.
