New RSV drug for babies shows promise in major trial

Summary
This study tests an oral medicine called deurremidevir in infants and young children (1 month to 3 years old) with RSV infection. About 498 children will receive either the drug or a placebo for 5 days. The goal is to see if the drug helps relieve symptoms like wheezing and rapid breathing faster than placebo.
