This study looks at how the bacteria in the gut might influence how sick children get from RSV, a common virus that can cause severe breathing problems. Researchers will compare the gut bacteria and immune responses of 250 Vietnamese children with mild versus severe RSV infections. The goal is to identify patterns that could help predict or prevent severe illness.
