New ointment RSS0393 shows promise for psoriasis relief in major trial

Summary
This phase 3 study tests whether an ointment called RSS0393 can safely reduce psoriasis plaques and itching in adults. About 600 people with mild-to-moderate plaque psoriasis will use the ointment or a placebo daily for 8 weeks. The main goal is to see if the ointment clears skin better than placebo.
