New drug RPT1G enters human testing for tough blood cancers

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new drug called RPT1G in 24 people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) whose cancer has returned or not responded to standard treatments. The main goals are to check if RPT1G is safe and to find the best dose. Participants will receive the drug and be closely monitored for side effects and any signs that the drug is fighting their cancer.
