New imaging methods could sharpen rotator cuff diagnosis
NCT ID NCT04223440
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether advanced MRI and ultrasound techniques can better measure muscle changes in people with rotator cuff tears. Three adults with a tear on one side and a healthy shoulder on the other took part. The goal was to see if these imaging tools could provide clearer, more reliable information about muscle health.
