First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study compares two types of dental sealers used in root canals—bioceramic and calcium hydroxide—to see which one leads to less pain after the procedure. About 50 adults with a painful tooth infection will receive one of the sealers as part of their standard care. They will report their pain levels over the next few days to help dentists choose the best option for patient comfort.
