New study tests if laser or ultrasonic cleaning makes root canals less painful

Summary
This study looks at three ways to clean a tooth during a root canal: standard syringe, ultrasonic, or laser. Researchers want to see which method causes the least pain and improves quality of life the most. 90 adults with infected or damaged permanent teeth will be followed for one year.
