First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study compares two materials used to fill teeth during repeat root canal treatment: standard gutta-percha and a newer material called MTA. About 58 adults with infected teeth and small lesions will be treated and followed for 12 months. The goal is to see which material leads to better healing, less pain, and less tooth discoloration.
