Summary
This study looked back at medical records to compare two types of minimally invasive surgery for right colon cancer: robotic-assisted and laparoscopic. Researchers analyzed data from 771 patients to see which approach led to better survival rates, fewer complications, faster recovery, and lower costs. The study was terminated early and did not involve new treatments, but aimed to gather knowledge from past patient experiences.
