Summary
This study tested a robotic device that helps doctors place needles precisely into abdominal tumors. Fifty-five adults with abdominal cancer took part. The goal was to see if the robot could guide the needle accurately enough to perform the planned procedure, and to track any adjustments needed. The study did not test a new treatment, but rather gathered information on the device's performance and safety.
