Robot-Assisted hernia surgery tested with new mesh

Summary
This study is testing a surgical mesh called OviTex for repairing belly or groin hernias using robotic surgery. It aims to see how well the mesh works by checking for complications and whether the hernia comes back after surgery. About 160 people will have their hernia repaired with this specific mesh and be followed for two years.
