Robot walking therapy: a new hope for spinal cord injury recovery?
NCT ID NCT07440459
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at how people with spinal cord injury improve their walking ability during robot-assisted gait training. Ten participants used a robotic device called Lokomat to help them walk, and their progress was measured before, during, and after the training, plus one month later. The goal was to understand how recovery happens over time, not to test a new treatment.
