Robots vs. surgeons: the battle for a better knee replacement
NCT ID NCT03519269
Summary
This study is comparing two ways to perform total knee replacement surgery for severe arthritis: the standard manual method and a newer robot-assisted technique. Researchers want to see if using a robot helps patients recover better, with less pain and improved knee function. The study will enroll 86 adults with end-stage knee arthritis who have not improved with other treatments.
