First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study compares robot-assisted surgery to traditional open surgery for people with colon cancer on the right side of the colon. The goal is to see if the robot approach can remove the cancer just as completely, while possibly causing fewer complications and shortening hospital stays. About 40 patients will have robot surgery and be compared to 44 patients who had open surgery in the past.
