Robots help burn survivors relearn to walk
NCT ID NCT07277166
Summary
This study is testing whether a wearable robot that helps move the legs can improve walking ability for people who still have trouble walking six months after severe burns on their legs. Twenty eligible participants will receive one-on-one physical therapy using the robot for one hour a day, five days a week, for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in walking distance, pain, and movement before and after the training program.
