Summary
This study looked at how the blood thinner rivaroxaban, taken with aspirin, affects blood clotting and artery function in people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). Sixty adults with PAD took low-dose rivaroxaban plus aspirin or a placebo plus aspirin. Researchers measured changes in artery dilation and platelet activity. The goal was to understand how this drug combination might improve symptoms and reduce risks in PAD.
