First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study aims to understand how coronary artery disease progresses in young adults aged 18 to 45. Researchers will enroll 10,000 participants who have had a coronary CT scan and follow them over several years with repeat scans. By analyzing health data, lifestyle, and genetics, they hope to build a model that predicts who is at higher risk for worsening heart disease, leading to better early prevention.
