First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked back at 511 patients who had surgery for an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) to find out what leads to dangerously low blood pressure after the operation and how that affects survival. Researchers reviewed medical records from 2013 to 2021 at Rijnstate Hospital. The goal was to identify risk factors for low blood pressure in the first 48 hours after surgery and see if it impacted 30-day and 1-year survival.
