Doctors review Real-World results when switching a key drug for serious lung condition
NCT ID NCT07374302
Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of 15 adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension, a serious lung and heart condition. The patients were already on a standard three-drug combination but switched one specific medication (a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor) to a different one called riociguat as part of their regular care. Researchers will check if this switch helped improve patients' walking ability, symptoms, and blood test results over six months, without causing the condition to get worse.
