New study tests better surgical fix for broken hip sockets

Summary
This study compares two types of metal plates used to fix a broken hip socket (acetabular fracture). 60 adults under 65 will be randomly assigned to receive either a rim plate or a buttress plate during surgery. The goal is to see which method leads to better bone healing, less joint damage, and improved long-term function.
