First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two heart procedures (right atrium only vs. both atria) to prevent fainting caused by reflex syncope. Fifty adults aged 18-60 with severe, recurrent fainting will be monitored with a tiny heart recorder before and after the procedure. The goal is to see which method better reduces dangerous pauses in heart rhythm and fainting episodes.
