Water vs air: new colonoscopy trick may catch hidden polyps
NCT ID NCT07456007
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new colonoscopy method that uses water instead of air in the right part of the colon to see if it helps find more polyps (which can turn into cancer). About 414 adults getting a routine colonoscopy took part. The goal was to improve detection without making the procedure longer.
