First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding rice bran to nutrition education helps people with fatty liver disease (MASLD) improve their health. 58 overweight or obese adults with moderate fatty liver took part. Some received only nutrition education, while others also took rice bran supplements. The goal was to see if rice bran could boost weight loss and improve metabolic markers. The results may support using rice bran as a dietary aid for managing fatty liver.
