First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a short, story-based digital game played during hemodialysis sessions can improve patients' well-being. Forty adults on regular dialysis played the game to see if it would lower anxiety, boost knowledge about healthy eating, and help them follow their treatment plan better. The results may offer a simple, enjoyable way to support mental and physical health during a tough treatment routine.
