New study checks if a quick arm test works for arthritis patients
NCT ID NCT06753851
First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple test called the six-minute pegboard and ring test (6-PBRT) is a good way to measure arm exercise ability in people with rheumatoid arthritis. Forty adults with the condition did the test, along with other arm strength and function tests. The goal was to see if the 6-PBRT is reliable and valid for this group, not to treat the disease.
