New drug aims to regrow hair in severe alopecia

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called rezpegaldesleukin for adults with severe to very severe alopecia areata, a condition causing significant hair loss. About 94 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo to see if it helps regrow hair over 36 weeks, with an optional extension. The goal is to measure changes in hair loss scores and check for side effects.
