First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new antifungal drug called rezafungin to prevent serious fungal infections in liver transplant patients at high risk. About 385 adults receiving a liver transplant will get the drug, and their infection rates will be compared to similar patients from the past two years. The goal is to see if rezafungin can safely reduce infections and improve outcomes after transplant.
