Summary
This study tests a program called REWIRE for teens aged 12-17 who feel anxious or depressed and use social media over 3 hours daily. One group will cut social media use by about half and try more offline activities like hobbies or time with friends, while a comparison group gets education only. The goal is to see if reducing screen time eases anxiety and depression symptoms.
