NCT ID NCT04965038
First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a clot-busting drug given within 4.5 hours could restore vision in people with a sudden blockage of the eye's main artery. The trial was stopped early, but researchers were looking at how well the drug worked compared to a placebo. About 127 people with sudden, painless vision loss in one eye were planned to take part.
