First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested an artificial intelligence (AI) tool called RetinAIcheck to see how well it can detect and grade eye damage caused by high blood pressure (hypertensive retinopathy). Researchers used 729 patients' eye photos and compared the AI's results to assessments by eye doctors. The goal was to see if the AI could accurately identify the severity of the condition.
